Oh yea… interesting bus stories (short ’cause i’m tired)

* Got to burrard station.. had a guy like “I am trying to take the last 310 to coquitlum, and i only have $1.80, do you have any spare change”
Now while I usually am totally willing to help out in this matter, and infact did, LAST TIME I WAS THERE! yes, thats right, a month ago, after the last lj meetup, I got asked by the same guy for some change for the bus, ’cause he was short…. This time I noticed he actually put out a half smoked cig… This really doesn’t seem to me like someone who is short on money. Clean clothes, nice telus hat, etc… DAM SCAMMERS! ruining it for everyone else.. now i’ll never help people like that agian :(

* Second stop on the 98 line… Two .. well moderatly buzzed older guys got on the bus.. Overheard them yell out to some (young) girls “Its mardi gras week!” and something about beads
They ended up sitting near me… so i overheard the rest of the conversation. apparently, if this guy was to drop his pants, they’d show them something, i’d assume flash her chest.

Rest of the trip home was um… impatient as i drank too much at boston pizza tonight

Went to the used book store with mom today..

Its always so much fun to re-read enders game.

So far each time I’ve done it I’ve always ended up being in a different mindset.

May it be content with life (when I read it first, working at bosleys), or totally downish and depressed (last school year, very lonely and crap), or now, whatever I might be now.. I always find it interesting how jealous I am of ender and valentine.

I just love this book, I can’t wait to finish it another time.

And I think on monday or tuesday Mom and I are going to the used book store to sell off alot of old (crappy) startrek books and magazines and stuff, so hopefully we can get Enders Shadow from there tooo.

I find BCIT’s ad a bit ironic.

Something like:

Its kinda funny, because, well in my personal experience, You come out of BCIT expecting to be able to find a good job, so you don’t work at fast food joints, yet you really arn’t that qualified, so you still end up going to fast food places as you are broke and cheap and stuff.

My Thoughts Exactly.

I don’t know why I don’t like Julia Roberts, maybe its her look, the roles she portrays, that face that always makes me think she is crying… Whatever it is, I try to avoid movies she’s in unless I hear they are really good.

I was quite shocked when I saw it was her in this one.

One thing about being unemployed, you play more games, and watch more movies.
