This weekend Nigel loaned me this short book called All my friends are superheroes. So far its been pretty awesome, but there’s just one superhero description I have to share.

The Dancer

The Dancer has direct communication with God, much like a personal phone line. The telephone she uses is her body and she dials by dancing. As such, her dancing is a very, very sensual thing.

In the past, whenever she went out dancing, she got hit on and hit on and hit on. She didn’t like this at all. She hated it. It wasn’t what she was trying to do. She just wanter to talk to God. She almost gave up dancing altogether. Then she got an idea.

Now, just before she goes out dancing, the Dancer straddles a photocopier and makes copies of her vagina. When guys come up and hit on her, she justs hands them a copy.

Finished The Eternity’s End By Jeffrey A. Carver.. I wasn’t impressed to start with, but man it ended up pretty good. Turns out its the last in a series of books, thats why it was so confusing at first. The guy is an awesome reader. I mean he’s no Orsen Scott Card :D

Next up:
* Northern Lights – Philip Pullman

After reading as much of speaker for the dead as I have. I want Andrew Wiggin to be a speaker at my death
that would be sooo cooool

I was thinking that all last night..

From what I understand, its not that uncommon of a feeling.

Chapter In and Chapter Out, I just keep liking this book more and more..

Unlike mystery tv shows, this book puts up the information at the begging, but you really don’t figure out whats going on until.. well I still havn’t figured it out.

It connects with me soooo deeply.

I wish I had more to say about this.. But I so like this book.

I keep wanting to get to the end so I can finish. Just so I can find out the secret. The secret that got so many poeple killed. I’m starting to guess at things.. But each chapter ends up leading me in a slightly different direction. Such an awesome writer.

Such a powerful book.

Its always so much fun to re-read enders game.

So far each time I’ve done it I’ve always ended up being in a different mindset.

May it be content with life (when I read it first, working at bosleys), or totally downish and depressed (last school year, very lonely and crap), or now, whatever I might be now.. I always find it interesting how jealous I am of ender and valentine.

I just love this book, I can’t wait to finish it another time.

And I think on monday or tuesday Mom and I are going to the used book store to sell off alot of old (crappy) startrek books and magazines and stuff, so hopefully we can get Enders Shadow from there tooo.

This has to be one of the saddest days in long time for news

The top story of the day.. no.. not war… no.. not sars…
Nope.. Its that harry potter and the order of the phoenix is due out in under 2 hours…

I still donno why this is so funny, I mean, I liked reading the books, they were well written, I think I liked the Ender’s games series a lot more… Well i’ve only read the first book, but still.

This whole phenomena is just… NUTS…

Weeeird, I can’t wait till it fades away like after the last book, all though I think it’ll take alot longer…
