Watching some anime with the group, and just now watching a movie or two, I realize, even if the scene doesn’t have sad stuff (or happy, narutos awesome about that), you can still very much feel really sad just by the music or sound effects at the time.

Books can invoke a strong emotional response to, but it doesn’t seem to work the same way.

People should really come with personal soundtracks instead of mood rings, so those less emathic can really get a feel for the mood. Actually, I guess that could have some potential backfire eh? A sad person around others could make them all sad too. Although said sad person around happy persons could possibly change that.

Now to an extreme, what about a horny person? what soundtrack would they have? or what would others be affected by them?

Okay, its a pretty stupid idea, but man, music has such strange effects on me, specially combined with a book (used to listen to the radio while reading).

…what happened to brittany spears producing music?

I mean, I don’t think even one of her songs since ‘I’m a slave for you’ has actually sounded remotely like music.

I think Chad’s right.. I should get this…

Its alot better than the IPod from what I hear, which seems to either die for people, or need proprietary software, and all that stuff. Doesn’t come with any accessories, not even a usb cable. And the HP-120 is almost exactly the same price, if not cheaper.

I know the M and a few others swear by thier IPod, but this seems like it has so many more features I’d use.

At least I’m going to go about buying a few cds and soundtracks.
* Kill Bill Vol 1 soundtrack
* Punisher
* Nelly Furtado (Something)
* PInk – Missundaztood
* Punk O Rama 7
Need to figure out some good electronic stuff as coding music too.

Defanatly have to think of others.. I’ve waited so long to buy cds.

This whole lot might be a fun lot to blow my first pay cheque on eh?

I found the absolute perfect themesong for Ender. At least in the Xenocide book.

Hoobastank – Reason

Every time I hear that song, I think of Ender, and his poort wife (well she really isn’t that hard done by, but … she’s pretty far gone)

Yea, I just thought I would share that.

Remember old games.. Like Mechwarrior 2? How they used to come with the game on track one, then music on the rest of the tracks?

It was really cool how you could drop a game into the cd player and listen to music.

Well recently a friend of mine reminded me how cool the mechwarrior 2 soundtrack was. Unfortuatly, when I put it into my mp3 cd player, it wouldn’t play. It kept thinking it was an empty MP3 cd.

I mean, its not a big deal, I can always reburn it with just the music tracks. But I try to avoid burning music cds, if I like a song enough that I want to listen to it alot, I”ll go buy a cd with it. That reminds me, I have to pick up the kill bill soundtrack to replace the burned copy I have.

Yea, so as much as I love this new player, which can read re-writable cds and mp3 cds (which i almost never use after that first week), its sooooo much smaller than my massive old cd player (think 80s car phone vs now cell phones), but I miss being able to play my old game cds, and I paid for them. Copying them now seems.. BAH.
