Not so much as dead, as more like, busy.

I really have to get back to working on this site one of these days, as well as working on the website and my MTLJPost script and well, all kinds of other little projects i’ve ben pushing off.

I really like working, but I have to get back into the whole seperating work time and home time and get some fun projects done.

Does editing work?

I think things will get done more as i move back into linux at home (probably run Unbuntu as its like debian, but fits together nicer). Been running Unbunto in a vm sandbox at home for a while now, and i’ve liked what I’ve seen.
But first, I have to make it through the christmas season long enough to replace the dead hd (and its dying replacement).

If you are like me, and just like going to common sites quickly.

For me, its simply Control + L (goes to location bar) then “perldoc” which gets me to http://www.perldoc.com which I also end up using many times during the day, as I need to look up specific behavior of functions, like grep :)

if you goto manage bookmarks, then new bookmark
you can set keywords for bookmarks
then if you put a %s in, you can do string

Starting to work on this code again. Slowly working on migrating my entire site over to the new codebase.

Part of the reason people probably havn’t been noticing any updates that have happened on this server was the rss file was always linking to the wrong one, so i’ve finally fixed it so people are getting the correct information now. WHEEE.

We’ve moved now. We’ll I’ve moved now. Living with an awesome roommate. You can see us on cam at /cam/. Well its more the living room cam. It all started as just good fun, now its sorta stuck and we are used to it :D

I’ve fallen in love with tidy-proxy. Its a simple little program that sits in front of you and the internet, and checks every incoming site for valid html and such..

It so cool. I found out that j0rd’s website is non standard… This coming from the guy who constantly complains about how other sites are not actually up to spec.

Yea, its really only cool for anal web developpers and such. But I figured it was time for an update anyways, and this felt like a good enough one.
